Malpensa
Location:
The airport is located 45 km (29 miles) north west of Milan, about 50 minutes from the hotel. A shuttle bus connects the two airport terminals.
Transportation:
By Train: The Train from Malpensa airport takes you directly into the center of Milan (a 40 minute ride) at which point you can take a 10 minute taxi ride to the hotel. The cost of a ticket one way is around 13 euros, with the taxi an additional 12 euros. (Malpensa Express (tel: (02) 85111; website: www.malpensaexpress.it) trains run from Terminal 1 to Milano Cadorna Station).
By Bus: Bus service is also available from Malpensa. This service will also take you directly into the center of Milan and you may take a taxi to the hotel. Bus fare is around 5 euros. The Malpensa Shuttle (tel: (0331) 258 411; website: http://ticketonline.malpensashuttle.it) runs from both terminals to the Milano Centrale Station (stopping by request at the conferences and exhibition centre during Milan fair events). There are also services to Linate Airport, Sesto and Torino.
By Taxi: Taxis are available from the Airport. Please be aware that people may approach you offering taxi rides. Instead, make your way out of the airport and proceed to the general taxi stand. The cost of the trip to the hotel is around 50 to 75 euros depending on traffic.
By Car: Car Rental Agencies such as Auto Europa, Avis, EasyCar, Europcar, Hertz, Locauto, Maggiore, Sixt, Targa Rent and Thrifty-Italy by Car are all located at Terminal 1. The airport can be reached from the state road SS336. Take the Busto Arsizio exit from the Autostrada dei Laghi (A8), which links directly with Milan.

Transportation:
By Taxi: Taking a taxi from Linate is the best way to get to the hotel. Average rate is around 25 euros. You do not have to go to the center of Milan to get to the hotel. Approximate time to the hotel is around 20 minutes depending on traffic.
By Bus: Buses leave regularly for the Central Station in Milan and the Piazza San Babila underground station; the trip takes 30 minutes and costs €2.
By Car: Cars can be rented from Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Thrifty and other local representatives.
