Strategic Meetings Management
> Education > Strategic Meetings Management
Strategic meetings management is the practice of applying enterprise-wide policies and procedures to the procurement of meetings services in order to drive savings, minimise risk, maximise efficiency and enhance value. The concept was pioneered by the NBTA Groups & Meetings Committee, and leading companies around the world are implementing their own strategic meetings management programmes (SMMP). For many companies in Europe, SMMP represents the next wave in creating value through effective travel management.
